We are currently accepting applications for bands,
solo artists and dance groups for consideration for
performing at Urban Music Week.

Performers will range in diverse musical styles from Hip Hop to R&B, Drum n' Bass to Reggae as well as Gospel. We are also accepting applications from DJs,
dance groups and spoken word artists.
Showcase performers will be scheduled to perform between 12 noon and 10pm.

To be considered as a perfomer you must apply via Sonicbids or complete the TUMF 2012 Showcase Application form (see below) and mail it to:

Please be sure to include a CD, cassette or video of your music, as well as a photo, brief bio, plus the $20 application fee. Please make payable--via certified cheque or money order--to "Toronto Urban Music Festival Inc."

Once submitted, your application will be evaluated based on production, melody and creativity. We will also be looking at the presentation as a secondary consideration.
We will listen to a minimum of 3 songs.

Please note that all info and product sent to us must be properly labelled and submitted material becomes the property of the Toronto Urban Music Festival and cannot be returned.

Your band and/or solo information will be automatically added to the Urban Music Directory, whether or not you have been selected to perform.
